For the third year in succession, Sisteron is host to a Duo Discus competition. Gliders and competitors in previous years have come mainly from France, but all nationalities are welcome, as long as they bring a Duo with them. It is the sort of competition that can be as extreme or as relaxed as one chooses; with large assigned areas within easy reach of landable airfields it is more like a panoramic task week than a serious competition. Ariane has again bagged a flight or two with Hervé Perrin, and will report on her adventures in due course. The competition runs this year from June 4th-11th.
