...which is why no-one today
was particularly keen on flying. There also wasn't much scope for
non-masochistic outdoor activities so most of us retired to our gîtes to
catch up on reading, household jobs or, in John's case, dealing with a modem
that had taken to shrugging its shoulders and saying 'Non!' in true Gallic
fashion.
Incidentally,
despite the storms of yesterday, one intrepid German pioneer made it to
Zermatt and back in his ASH26E. Mind you, he is very skilled and he is highly
experienced, as he helpfully continues to remind us...
