Ariane's
Day Out
Wowww...today was just so good. Shortest tow of the day, just below the top of Hongrie I released into a false thermal.
Putain... I had better get a climb before I land back. I make my way to Sigoyer straight into a 6
knot thermal to 2200
metres.
The hardest was done and the rest of the day was just find a cloud, climb and go. Went to Pic de Bure, then joined Chabriere, Guillaume and spent some time playing on the Parcours. Decided to go to see the Gorges du Verdon and flew to the lake de Sainte Croix. The outside temperature by then was 32 degrees and all I could see was a few
pedalos on the lake... I wished I was there.
I landed after 4 hours after running out of water and still the temperature was well into the
30's.
I have been here 6 days, flown 5 and already collected well over 20 hours.
Watch this space on Monday or Tuesday
as I am off in a Duo with one of the French team trainers for a flight in the first Duo
Discus Competition. I will let you know how they do it....
