All the bureaucratic hassles encountered this year fade away once on the runway. The aerotow operation remains very good, both in the standard of flying shown by the pilots and the quality of the tugs. Well, two of the tugs anyway, including the Robin pictured above which was brought on-line since last year's visit.

The weather briefing is generally good, especially when accompanied by a running commentary from everyone's favourite Aussie-Frenchman, Gilles. The weekly aperitif evenings were still taking place during the Spring although I saw no mention of a club barbecue. But then again it was April...
