I am disappointed to report another tale of
underachievement, this time with Wendy as company in the Duo. A good climb
off the Gache should have put me on track for the parcours, but I spent too
much time dithering on Authon and Auribeau, overly-concerned about the
effect of a moderate north-westerly on the usual hot spots.
We
then decided to change tack, and go hunting for some wave. Arriving at the
cirque at Lure we had a cracking ridge run all the way to the summit, where
a handy thermal gave us another few hundred feet that allowed us to probe
    the Jabron.
