Welcome
to the Sisteron 2004 Expedition Website |
Visitors to last
year's diary will recall that we all had an excellent few weeks
soaring in what was probably the best June weather we had ever experienced
in the southern French Alps. This year we were again lucky to find several
days of good weather that helped us to squeeze in a few more excellent
long distance flights.
We decided early on not to post a daily diary this year
(because of the amount of time it took), but instead to publish a
record of our holiday after the event. |

This
Year's Team
Once again we collected together pilots
from a number of clubs; John Bridge, Ariane Decloux, Rob Welford, Andrew
Johnston and Paul Kaye from Gransden Lodge; Tony and Anne Crowden, and
Mike Tomlinson from Talgarth; and Ian Godfrey, John Caton and Mike Jarrett from
Lasham.
All accounts written by John Bridge
unless otherwise stated. All heights are QNH. |
